Your are related to all these folks according to familysearch.org.  You can see this yourself my opening a free account, putting yourself and your mother in, and voila!  You will have a detailed genealogy going way back.

I always knew you were Queenly.  You will be insufferable now, Your Majesty! Let Them Eat Cake!

Your Famous Relatives

Familysearch.org has a fun new tool that shows your relationship to famous people. A fun thing to see. The photos below are from people who are your distant cousins. The program also shows how you are related. The author Jane Austen, George Washington and Abraham Lincoln are cousins. Some of your cousins came over on the Mayflower.

If you would like to do this fun thing yourself, you need an account on familysearch.org. This is free and run by the Church of the Latter Day Saints. Enter yourself and parents and perhaps grandparents and you will have a complete genealogy going way back in time. And then you can see all the famous folks (and infamous folks) in your family tree.

Charlemagne

Charlemagne Was Your Ancestor

Charlemagne  2 April 742 – 28 January 814

Charlemagne was a very impressive King.  Note the family resemblance.

Kings and Queens were wealthy and produced numerous offspring.  Most people alive today are descended from these people. And now we have proof that we are descended from big mucky mucks.

I uploaded our genealogy to the Church of the Latter-Day Saints Familysearch.org program.  The program combines our genealogy into their very large data base and provides numerous connections back to ancient times. The link is
familysearch.org/tree/pedigree/landscape/LKQ5-K1N  You have to sign in to familysearch.org to use the system - it is free. After you sign in add your mother and grandmother to your genealogy and all the ancestors should be shown.

I took some screen shots below which shows our path back to Charlemagne.  And Beth and Craig are cousins - both descended from him.  And that and a buck+ will get you a cup of coffee. Still, it is fun.
